Last month, we took a prenatal class at the local hospital and personally I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. We went the first week and it was so horrible that neither of us wanted to go back. There were supposedly going to be relaxation and breathing techniques taught and things like that, but the whole focus was on how painful it was and how many things could go wrong. For example, if you have a certain bacteria on your skin, it will kill your baby during labor if you don't get 4 hours of antibodies...but they leave out the fact that the antibodies can be given to your baby too, they instead focused on the fact that your baby would die. Anyway, I found this cartoon and it just reminded me so much of the class that I had to share.
