The Cake

While we were in Alabama, we cut the top layer of our wedding cake. We have officially made it through our first year of marriage. We have loved every moment of it and we both feel so blessed to be together. So we pulled out the cake that had been in the freezer for a year and cut it.



We were pretty sure that it would be ok, but we did have some doubt about how good it would be. After we had it in our mouth we could feel lumps and panicked....we promptly spit it out in the garbage. After further inspection, we realized that the filling was pineapple...thus the lumps. We got a great laugh out of it, and had more after we were sure it was fine.
